TAK visits KUI in the evening. She leaves in disappointment, feeling that she is not welcomed. KUI seeks help from his friend SO KAM-LAM, who is a police officer. LAM advices him not to tell TAK the truth for the time being. KUI goes to check out more about KUEN with the nightclub manager, who says that KUEN was a confirmed gambler and that she once owed SING gambling debts. When he looks into the matter further, KUI finds that FONG had once made KUEN drunk so that SING could take her to a guesthouse. The guesthouse caught on fire later and KUEN was killed. FONG admitted doing so, and was very sorry for her evil deed. TAK and KUI visit YUK’s village. The village head tells them YUK passed away two weeks ago. TAK is very upset. The rent for the papier-mache shop has gone up. YEE is vexed. YAN suggests closing the shop. After listening to KUI explains what the shop means to everyone, YAN decides to buy it.… ...
